  • Jeff Nelson

    Yoga Instructor

Jeff is originally from Texas where he engaged in endurance sports of many types including marathon, canoeing, road and mountain biking, and ultra-running. Graduate school for exercise physiology and job opportunities brought him to the mountain states where he has been since.

He found yoga and or shall it be said that yoga found him in 2013. He took a power yoga class and a 90-minute hot class. It was awesome. It was challenging. A yoga practice provides a complementary foundation that supports any other activity that you are doing. In short order, he signed up for power and subsequently hot yoga teacher trainings.

He is amazed at the benefits to the body, mind, and spirit one can receive from yoga. One take away message from yoga is that it is indeed a lifelong journey. It provides many lessons and golden nuggets along the way. It is a means by which one can fine-tune the body, mind, and spirit on multiple levels. It has been quite a journey into the physical and spiritual realms of yoga and has provided an enlightened perspective of the discipline. He was amazed of learning of the balances and imbalances of muscle and tendon function and the implication this has on performance physiology. Jeff sees yoga as a lifelong journey and looks forward to sharing the discipline with others. During classes that he teaches, Jeff will engage the student to connect with the workout and tap into the strength within.

  • Cody Nolen

    Yoga Instructor

Cody ended up in Colorado as an Air Force Retiree (2016). He served as an instructor for radar operations. He also served as a physical trainer for the staff. After separating from service, he replaced the military fitness routine with yoga and eventually became a yoga instructor. He is now a contractor for the military; and after work, he enjoys guiding groups through vinyasa and yin.

Cody was drawn to yoga because of the power of breathwork and meditation, and also the security of community that we find among friends. After 200hr yoga teacher training, he continued on to 300hr with a therapeutic focus to apply more intentional instruction. He enjoys sharing the benefits of the poses, to give purpose to our practice. As a fine arts major, he also shares seasonal paint and meditation classes with smaller groups, a practice known to aid sleep.

His favorite pose to recommend to clients is (Viparita Karani) legs-up-the-wall pose with hip opening variations, especially if they suffer from high blood pressure. He points out that it is accessible to most, can be held longer than most poses, and he loves to watch the practitioners experience complete ease and calmness in this safe space.

  • Nichole Urbatchka

    Yoga Instructor

I have been an educator for 25+ years, but recent trends in education had left been feeling completely drained. As the school year began in 2021 I knew I had to do some serious self-care. The "Breathe for Change" program allowed me to acquire my 200-hour certification while also helping me to embed yoga and meditation techniques in my classroom. Since completing my certification in 2022, I have had the pleasure of instructing both kids and adults in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness.

  • Michelle Jestice

500 RYT, Yin Yoga Certified, Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher

Hello! As a Colorado native, I love to hike, practice yoga, and be outside. I attended my first yoga class in 2005. As a consistent runner and weight lifter, my body felt like a complete wreck--especially after having four babies. After six months of consistently attending hatha yoga, my posture shifted; my abdominal separation (Diastasis Recti) healed. My body felt younger and energetic. My emotions grounded in peace. What was this magic elixir? Yoga, which I will practice until my last breath, is an age reverser, a healing and wellness tool for mind, body, and spirit. I became an instructor within two years, studying at Shoshoni Yoga Retreat center in Rollinsville, Colorado. I've taught in studios and gyms in various states and countries, recently earning my 500 RYT through Hot Asana University. Come and join me on the mat. I look forward to meeting you!

  • Emily Wilterdink

Practicing yoga has been a part of my life for over 20 years, it's hard to remember a time that I wasn't on this journey. Coming first through meditation and then asana, I found my home. My previous "life" in health care revealed to me the power of the breath and what this practice of yoga can do for so many others. As the COVID pandemic hit, my priority shifted once again, as did for so many others. I felt the need to dive deep into the teachings and found my way completing my RYT 500 with Janet Stone. Continuing to share those teachings with my students and explore this journey together fills me with such joy and gratitude. My daily ritual and teachings are a blend of Ashtanga Vinyasa and Bhakti (devotion). Being a constant student and following the 8 Limb Path of Yoga is my greatest journey. When I'm not practicing (or even when I am), I'm surrounded by my 2 precious children and wonderful, supportive husband, probably outside in nature or curled up with a book.

    OM Namah Shivaya.

  • Nicole He

    500 RYT Yoga Teacher

Nicole has been a passionate yoga practitioner since 2020. Yoga helps Nicole unload little by little what is not serving her anymore, feeling stronger and lighter in her body and mind. Nicole moved to Colorado in April, 2022. She finished 200 hour yoga teacher training in the summer of the same year in Colorado Springs. She loved the training and teaching yoga so much, so she jumped into 300 hour yoga teacher training to continue to deepen her practice and teaching. She became a 500 hour registered yoga teacher in October, 2023. Nicole has a great zeal for sharing the power of yoga with more people and helping people find peace, strength and confidence on and off the mat. For her, yoga is a journey to cast away the negativity, to find inner peace, and to discover your true self. It’s a practice for your body, your breath, your mind and your heart. Nicole loves to stay active and be outdoor. She enjoys hiking, rock climbing, paddle boarding and many other activities. She is also a proud cat mom.
